Astrology

The natal chart is quite literally a map of the soul.  It can be used to identify unconscious thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and tendencies, and put them into an objective language that makes them conscious to the individual.  When a person becomes conscious of something, they develop more self-awareness, and the unconscious material no longer has control over them.  We are then able to change and grow into more whole, authentic, self-actualized people.  The natal chart can not only show less desirable aspects to the personality, but can also highlight one's potential and gifts that might otherwise lie dormant.  Thus, astrology can be used as a means to access one's potential, and can guide one to their higher purpose.
